The Absecon Dairy Queen, located by the corner of Route 9 and the White Horse Pike, will participate in Miracle Treat Day Aug. 2 starting at 11 a.m. The store will donate $1 for every Blizzard sold to Children’s Miracle Network, which supports the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and children’s hospitals across North America. Last year, over $9,000 was raised. Entertainment at the event includes music, face painting, a magician, games, special appearances, and prizes, and runs all day.
